How we all got here...

On this page I'll describe our family's roots. I might include our family's immigration records or anything I know about the origins of the family name. I may, or may not add the possible lineages I have found for Peter Wallace Sr, there are four that I have found that are said to be his ancestral line.
It is my understanding that Peter Wallace Sr. immigrated to Ireland where he married Elizabeth Woods and had a famiily. He died while there and the family immigrated to America with her brother Michael Woods. Peter Jr. married his cousin Martha Woods, daughter of Michael Woods.

I might also add a picture of the family crest or other pictures that help set the historical context for our family's background.

From Va they spread to the west, Bigfoot Wallace a descendant of Peter Sr is a ancestor of my gr-granddad R.C. Wallace, he is a gr-gr uncle or cousin, will check into it again and let you know.

The Wallaces led an interesting life in Scotland, and then coming over here and fighting in the Revolutionary War. A group of men who believed in fighting for freedom.  I am proud to be a descendant of the Wallace family.
